The PS1Try Badge of Honor is a finicky thing. It’s not just awarded to all the classics, or even my favorites (Final Fantasy IX doesn’t have it). It goes to games that stand out for a good reason. I hopefully elaborate on that reason in my writeup for the game, but maybe I don’t. Sometimes a game gets the badge well after I’ve played it, and I try to do the writeups shortly after playing. For whatever reason, these are the games I just can’t shake.
