Time Played: 16 minutes What’d you think?: Bowling games are largely the same. This bowling game, titled Bowling, provides the player with bowling and little more. Its Japanese release was under the Simple 1500 budget umbrella, and this game is as budget as it comes, but if you like the formula that bowling games provide, there’s nothing actually objectionable here. There’s regular bowling, a mode where you practice picking up spares (pre-determined, you can’t set your own), and a a mode where you bowl seven frames of three throws down a lane with 45 pins, which is always fun. This game is fine. It’s the only bowling game I’ve played that accurately recreates how awkward the few steps you take with the ball on your approach are.
