What’d you think?: Disney’s Treasure Planet is a PlayStation game based on Disney’s Treasure Planet movie, which I haven’t seen, but is obviously Treasure Island in space. The main part of the game seemed to be a 3d action platformer in the vein of Super Mario 64, presumably with all your favorite voices and characters and locales from the movie. Collect enough of a certain thing to advance to other levels. Some levels were “race” levels where you only speed through a circuit on a hover-windsail thing, your finish time on these levels determines how many of the level-advancing-things you collect. The game was released for the PS1 and the PS2, and as with many games developed for different generations, the PS1 one feels a little janky, but I haven’t played the PS2 one to compare.
