What’d you think?: This is a Japanese baseball game about American baseball. More specifically, it’s about Major League Baseball, as I don’t think there are any significant rule differences between baseball as it’s played in America or in Japan (at least not rule differences that would transfer into a video game). Even more specifically, it’s about MLB players. It seems that this game got a license from the players union to use like likenesses of players, but not from MLB to use the likenesses of teams or stadiums. So you can play as Mark McGuire, but he (and his VERY shapely ass) only play for “St. Louis”. The game itself I kind of hated because I did very poorly. There’s no indicators to show where balls are going to land when you’re fielding, so I think I recorded maybe two entire fly-outs.
