What’d you think?: When the PS1 was new, I wasn’t very into traditional sports games. This is the first hockey game I’ve played as a part of this project, so I’m unable to compare this game, yet, to any of its contemporaries. I lost my first match, so I didn’t even get a very thorough first experience. It sounded alright. One thing I’ve learned about sports games, particularly older ones, is that the AI is often finicky enough that there will usually be some particular strategy that frequently works well against them, and that this strategy is not usually one that will actually work in physical hockey. One game wasn’t really enough time to try to figure out that strategy.
