What’d you think?: This game was ambitous and weird, two of my favorite qualities in a game. I didn’t get to see very much of it or really figure out how it worked because I died quickly, but it was a 3d fighting game in the truest sense — you could move freely along the Z-axis too. Every character seemed to have a set of projectile attacks at range and punches and kicks up close. There were two attack strengths, a guard button, a “charge” button that rushes you towards your opponent, and another button I never quite grokked. Wish I had the manual for this one, or something to learn everyone’s moveset, as the training mode was the most barebones I’ve ever seen — just you freely attacking an unmoving opponent.
