This is getting a non-traditional writeup as it was a non-traditional experience. I had already played R4 when this disc came up in a new docket. My writeup for R4 was for the US version of the game and didn’t mention the bonus disc content at all, though the US version does have a bonus disc. I’m actually not sure what’s on it. The bonus disc on the Japanese version had the original game Ridge Racer, in both a “high-spec” and “original” mode. It also had “Namco Catalog ’98”, a catalog of all the Namco games available on the PlayStation, as well as images of some of Namco’s controllers, like the Guncon, Jogcon, and NeGcon. There were playable demos of Libero Grande (a neat-looking soccer game), Tekken 3, Klonoa, and Tales of Destiny. I played them all and had a good time.
