What’d you think?: I’ve played a number of Super Robot Wars and Gundam games at this point, but still have no real affinity for the genre. I do have an affinity for tactics games, and this seems like a pretty good one, with a fair bit more depth than many others for the console. Though I was hampered some by the language barrier, the first night I streamed there was someone familiar with the game in chat helping me out. You can capture enemy units, upgrade all sorts of things, you have ships that can board and dock other ships. It’s the deepest tactical game for the PS1 that I’ve seen so far, and I just wish it was in English and about something other than giant robots.
