What’d you think?: There are many versions of Tetris out there. This one has Card Captor Sakura and weird mines. It doesn’t seem to have T-Spins. I didn’t play well, the timing it took the tetrominos to lock in place is very dissimilar to the timing in Tetris 99, and my muscle memory doomed me. I didn’t get to see much of the story mode, which seemed to present the player with difficult tetris boards and ask them to escape. I did get to play some of the versus mode, which seemed to take cues from Tetris Battle Gaiden, and clearing lines sent attacks over to your opponent’s screen that would radically alter the playfield in more serious ways than just sending lines of garbage. That part seemed neat. There was also a gallery of images you could unlock, if you wanted to look at some images of anime on your Playstation. This is not a very good version of Tetris.
