What’d you think?: I was afraid that this game would be a digital pet simulator. Instead, it was a weird hybrid of Pac-Man and Lemmings. Some sea monkeys hatch and start walking in a direct line across one of the borders of the map. Eventually they need to get to a giant clam; if enough escape (and you’ve collected all the orange fish in the level in the submarine you control) you’ve won! But some things want to kill the sea monkeys, some want to kill you, sometimes the most direct route towards the clam will get them there before you’ve had enough time to get all the fish, so you have to pick up and move various items that can block or lure the sea monkeys, destroy the green fish (that harm you), or whatever. If that all sounds interesting, I guess it could be, but the cover art promises a “premium budget” experience and delivers fully.
