What’d you think?: There’s thousands of games on the PlayStation, and dozens of them are about golf. Most of those aren’t in the Hot Shots franchise, so why bother? The reason why you might bother with this one is some music that seems too funky for golf, even with the youthful zest that a young Tiger Woods brings to the sport. One track features multiple vocal samples of Tiger Woods, including one of him politely chuckling. Bizarre. The golf part of the game is fine, using the same basic two-press inputs for power and accuracy that golf games have used forever. You’re allegedly playing on real courses but it all looks like ass, so who cares?
