What’d you think?:This is a kart racing spinoff of a series of shooters, all of which are based on an anime series from the mid-70s. As kart racers go, it’s pretty solid, but the recovery period after getting hit by some weapons is agonizingly long sometimes. There’s also boss fight type levels that are just about hitting one opponent with weapons, disregarding the racing portion entirely — if the opponents get too far ahead of you they’re accelerated at an incredible rate until they’re back behind you again (and in prime position to hit you with a weapon). I do not like this approach. I screwed up the VOD of this and there’s no video for the first twenty minutes.
